Back in November, I wrote my first Starter Guide for the RG351P. Since then, there have been a few changes to the device: a new model, and custom firmware that simplifies the setup process.
So in this guide I will show you what to do during your first 20 minutes with a new RG351P or RG351M. This entry-level walkthrough will show you how to boot up games, back up your files, flash the 351ELEC firmware, and more!

Today we’re going to do a quick video showing off a glass screen protector for the Anbernic RG351P, RG351M, and PowKiddy RGB20. Not only will it protect your screen, but it covers up the “Anbernic” and PowKiddy” logos to give your device a cleaner look.

I’ve had a month with the ODROID Go Super, and I’m torn between loving and hating this device. There are moments when it is purely awesome, and others when I’d rather use a different handheld device. So check out my video below where I do a deep-dive into all the things I like and dislike about the device.

Over time, the rubber pads on the back of the RG350P, RG350M, RG351P, and RG351M starts to leak adhesive, leaving a sticky mess. Here’s how I removed those pads (and the gunky adhesive) from my device.

With its discounted price of $40, the Q400 seems like a great deal: it has a RK3128 chipset, 4″ display with 480p resolution, HDMI out (to 1080p), and four USB ports for multiplayer. But it kind of sucks, and I’ll show you why.

UPDATE: PortMaster has recently created a one-stop shop for all things related to running ports on retro handhelds. I recommend checking out their website and my most recent PortMaster guide instead of the guide below; I’m leaving this page up for posterity’s sake only. To get started, head over to their Games tab, find the game you want to run, and check out their instructions on that page. If you run into any issues, their discord server is also a great place to start.
While there isn’t a direct port of SM64 on PortMaster, I would recommend checking out Render96ex!
Today let’s get the beautiful SM64 port installed on the PocketGo S30, running at a beautiful 60 frames per second.

In today’s video we’re going to test seven different 3D-printed grips designed by Lupus Worax Custom. I’m keeping my favorites, and giving away the rest, so be sure to watch to the end for more info. Enjoy!
