  2. Hi Russ,

It sounded like you had a contact at PowKiddy. And several people I know said that they would purchase it if it was a different color (specifically;black, white, or retro gray (nes) me included after seeing your review.

I am sure that the toy like quality by the color and the weight are big concerns in purchasing it, do you think that emailing them with that suggestion would help?

  4. Hi Russ,

could you please tell me the MAME Version this device is using? I got one but when I try to update the gamelist with additional games I get the “not supported” message upon starting them. Which romset do I need?
    Thanks!

    1. I have been trying to find this out as well. Everything I’ve seen just recommends to forget the built in FW and get the Ruka CFW. That’s what I’ll be doing. And you’ve probably done that since this was posted. I was throwing some MAME 0.78 roms on there but no go.

  5. I peeled off the screen protector that had a little tab, but still looks like there is another sheet on the screen, can see multiple bubbles. I assume that can be (carefully) peeled off as well?

    1. Looks like it yes. So far I have only removed the top one as I’m not sure I trust myself near the screen with a razor blade. I don’t really notice the occasional bubble when I have a game playing so it doesn’t really bother me.

      1. The second protective sheet came off pretty easily. There was a gap on one side of the screen, and once I got my fingernail underneath the sheet, it came off very easily. Mine had about a dozen bubbles, so it was fairly annoying.
